مجمع الإطلاق 22 ( LC-22 ) في محطة كيب كانافيرال التابعة لقوات الفضاء ، بولاية فلوريدا، الولايات المتحدة الأمريكية، هو مجمع إطلاق استُخدم لإطلاق صواريخ كروز أفقيًا بين عامي 1957 و1960. يتألف المجمع من منصتي إطلاق، استُخدمتا لاختبار صواريخ XSM-73 بول غوس و MGM-13 مايس . وعلى عكس موقع إطلاق مايس الآخر، مجمع الإطلاق 21 ، لم يُبنَ أي هيكل خرساني لتغليف منصتي الإطلاق عند تحويله لإطلاق صواريخ مايس عام 1959، مما أكسبه لقب "الموقع الرخو".

تاريخ

بدأ بناء LC-22 في عام 1956، مما أدى إلى قبوله في الخدمة العسكرية في 26 فبراير 1957، مع مجمع الإطلاق 21. تم إجراء أول اختبار لصاروخ Bull Goose من LC-22 في 13 مارس 1957، وآخر اختبار في 28 نوفمبر 1958.

بعد انتهاء رحلات اختبار صاروخ بول غوس، تم تجديد المجمع 22 لاستقبال صاروخ مايس. أُطلق أول صاروخ مايس من منصة الإطلاق 22 في 29 أكتوبر 1959، وكان آخر إطلاق له من المجمع في 24 يونيو 1960.

بعد آخر عملية إطلاق، تم الاحتفاظ بالمجمع كموقع احتياطي حتى سبعينيات القرن الماضي، تحسباً لاحتياج صاروخ مستقبلي لاستخدامه. وحتى عام 2009، كان المبنى المحصن والعديد من الهياكل الداعمة التي أقيمت على منصة الإطلاق لا تزال قائمة.
