فرانسيس فيبر

فرانسيس بول فيبر (مواليد 28 يوليو 1937) مخرج سينمائي وكاتب سيناريو ومنتج وكاتب مسرحي فرنسي . ^{[ 1 ]} كتب وأخرج أفلامًا فرنسية وأمريكية. أُعيد إنتاج تسعة أفلام ناطقة بالفرنسية شارك فيها، سواءً ككاتب أو مخرج أو كليهما، كأفلام هوليوودية ناطقة بالإنجليزية: Le grand blond avec une chaussure noire (باسم The Man with One Red Shoe )، وL'emmerdeur (باسم Buddy Buddy )، و La Cage aux Folles (باسم The Birdcage )، و Le Jouet (باسم The Toy )، و Les Compères (باسم Fathers' Day ) ، و La chèvre (باسم Pure Luck )، و Les Fugitifs (باسم Three Fugitives )، و Le dîner de cons (باسم Dinner for Schmucks )، و La Doublure (باسم The Valet ). كما كتب سيناريو فيلم My Father the Hero ، وهو النسخة الأمريكية المعاد إنتاجها عام 1994 من الفيلم الفرنسي Mon père, ce héros .

سيرة

وُلد فيبر في نويي سور سين ، هوت دو سين ، ^{[ 3 ]} وهو ابن كاتبة وكاتب سيناريو يُدعى بيير جيل فيبر . كان والد فيبر يهوديًا ، ووالدته أرمينية روسية (تم تعميد فيبر عند ولادته). ^{[ 4 ]}^{[ 5 ]} وكان عمه الأكبر الكاتب تريستان برنارد . ^{[ 6 ]}

His parents were both authors: his father writer and journalist Pierre-Gilles Véber and his mother novelist Catherine Agadjanian, who wrote under the name Georgette Paul (1901-1990). He is the great-nephew of playwright, novelist, journalist and lawyer Tristan Bernard, grandson of playwright Pierre Véber and nephew of screenwriter, director and hit songwriter Serge Veber. He is the uncle of Sophie Audouin-Mamikonian, young adult author of the Tara Duncan series. His son, Jean Véber, is also a screenwriter.

Honors

He was made Chevalier (Knight) of the Légion d'honneur^[7] on 21 September 1996,^[8] and promoted to Officier (Officer) in 2008.^[8]
He was made Chevalier (Knight) of the Ordre national du Mérite in 2001.^[9]
