هذه قائمة بالمستوطنات في لانكشاير حسب عدد السكان بناءً على نتائج تعداد عام 2011. في عام 2011، كان هناك 49 منطقة سكنية مكتظة بالسكان في لانكشاير ، يبلغ عدد سكانها 5000 نسمة أو أكثر ، كما هو موضح في الجدول أدناه.

تصنيف السكان
تشير "المستوطنات" المذكورة في هذا الجدول إلى "التقسيمات الفرعية للمناطق المبنية" التي استخدمها مكتب الإحصاءات الوطنية في تعداد المملكة المتحدة لعام 2011. كانت "المناطق المبنية" وتقسيماتها الفرعية تُعرف سابقًا باسم "المناطق الحضرية"، وهي تُعرَّف بأنها مناطق مبنية لا تقل مساحتها عن 20 هكتارًا، وتفصلها عن المناطق المبنية الأخرى مسافة لا تقل عن 200 متر. وقد سُميت هذه المناطق وفقًا لخوارزمية تعتمد على اسم مدينة أو بلدة أو مستوطنة أخرى موجودة على خرائط هيئة المساحة البريطانية داخل المنطقة.
