هذه قائمة بالكهوف حول العالم التي نُشرت أسماؤها. يتطلب إدراج أي كهف في هذه القائمة رابطًا من ويكيبيديا أو إشارة إلى مصدر موثوق للتحقق. الكهوف مُرتبة حسب القارة ثم الدولة. أما الكهوف الواقعة في أقاليم ما وراء البحار في قارات أخرى غير قارة الدولة الأصلية، فتُرتب حسب قارة الإقليم ثم اسمه. توجد قائمة منفصلة بالكهوف السياحية ، أي تلك الكهوف التي يُمكن للجمهور زيارتها فقط.

The first atlas of lunar pits was published in 2021,[53] and a number of catalogues have been published beginning in 2014.[54]

Mars

Possible cave entrances on Mars. The pits have been informally named (A) Dena, (B) Chloe, (C) Wendy, (D) Annie, (E) Abby (left) and Nikki, and (F) Jeanne.

As of 2007 seven putative cave entrances have been identified in satellite imagery of the planet Mars, all so far located on the flanks of Arsia Mons.[55] A more recent photograph of one of the features shows sunlight illuminating a side wall, suggesting that it may simply be a vertical pit rather than an entrance to a larger underground space.[56]
